West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is emerging as the front runner to sign Burnley striker Andre Gray for £15million.

Bilic is keen to inject some pace into his squad this summer, especially with the bigger pitch at London Stadium in mind.

Gray, 26, has a year left on his Burnley contract and has turned down the offer of a new deal.

The Clarets are reportedly unwilling to meet Gray's wage demands and will risk losing him on a free transfer next summer if his future is not sorted during the current window.

The 26-year-old scored nine in 26 Premier League starts last season and is one of several attacking targets identified by Bilic.

The West Ham boss has also set his sights on Michy Batshuayi, Olivier Giroud and Kelechi Iheanacho this summer.
