West Ham moved back into the Premier League’s top four as Jarrod Bowen’s double made it three League wins on the bounce with victory over Norwich City.

The Hammers made a bright start with both Bowen and Manuel Lanzini given chances to test Tim Krul from the edge of the box. Bowen’s was straight at the Norwich keeper, however, while Lanzini fired well over.

Moyes’s side controlled the first half but had to wait until the final minutes of the half for the breakthrough. Bowen, who had seen a goal disallowed already, nipped ahead of his man to head Vladimir Coufal’s dangerous cross into the far corner and continue his fine vein of form.

Bowen continued to trouble Norwich after the break, clipping one effort onto the bar before hitting the outside of the post after beating Brandon Williams.

Norwich weren’t without chances as Lukasz Fabianski pulled off a superb save to push Adam Idah’s powerful drive onto the post.

Moyes sent on Arthur Masuaku to shore things up after that chance but the full-back ended up creating Bowen’s second as he drove forward and put it onto a plate for the winger to tap in. The assistant’s flag was initially raised for offside but VAR showed that Bowen was just on.

Here’s how Jack Rosser rated the Hammers…

Lukasz Fabianski 7

Largely untroubled before making a stunning save to deny Adam Idah, tipping his powerful effort onto the post. A first clean sheet for the Pole since December 12.

Vladimir Coufal 7

A welcome return to the side after missing the Leeds game. Delivered a fine cross for Bowen’s opener and was a threat throughout down the right.

Craig Dawson 7

Did well to stop a couple of Norwich chances in the second half. Solid showing.

Issa Diop 7

Kept the Norwich forwards quiet for the most part on the way to consecutive clean sheets.

Aaron Cresswell 7

An assured return after a long spell out with a back injury. Crosses were a touch wayward at times but a huge plus to have him back in the side.

Declan Rice 8

Kept good control of midfield, especially with a more attacking player in Lanzini alongside him.

Manuel Lanzini 7

Positive play in a deeper role once more, should have done better with a couple of chances from the edge of the box.

Jarrod Bowen 9

West Ham’s most in form man at the moment. A very well taken goal for his first and was rewarded for being a menace all evening with an easy second.

Nikola Vlasic 6

Another encouraging outing for the Croatian. Looks like the attacking midfielder is starting to really settle.

Pablo Fornals 7

Making a first Premier League start since Boxing Day. Neat and tidy on the ball and created some good openings.

Michail Antonio 6

Couldn’t match his performance from Sunday against Leeds. Put a good chance after a brilliant turn over the bar.

Substitutes

Arthur Masuaku 7

Delivered one wild cross shortly after coming on but then put the ball on a plate for Bowen’s second.

Andriy Yarmolenko 6

Powerful shot drew a good save from Tim Krul.
