Grady Diangana believes the relationship he is forging with Felipe Anderson will help West Ham in the run-up to Christmas.

Diangana was again impressive as West Ham ended a run of four League and cup games without a win with a 4-2 victory over Burnley.

Brazilian Anderson was the star performer, with two goals, but Diangana, who has replaced the injured Andriy Yarmolenko, was not far behind.

“It’s quite exciting to be in a team which creates so many chances — and especially for an attacker to play with Felipe and Marko Arnautovic,” the 20-year-old told Standard Sport.

“I’ve started to get a good understanding with Felipe and he’s always giving me advice as well, because we’re the same type of player.”

West Ham’s next match is away at Huddersfield next Saturday and Diangana added: “We’re looking to pick up as many points as possible because the teams we’re playing in the next few weeks, apart from Manchester City, are in and around us in the table.”
