Jordan Ayew scored his first goal for Crystal Palace to set the Eagles on their way to a 2-0 win against Wolves at Molineux

Ayew struck with a good finish from close range after 83 minutes and Luka Milivojevic sealed an impressive victory from the penalty spot with the last kick of the match.

The win moves Palace six points clear of the relegation zone and brings Wolves back down to earth after their win against Tottenham at Wembley last week.

Palace are targeting a new striker in the January transfer window but Ayew answered a call from Roy Hodgson as he searches for a way to add goals to his team.

The Ghana forward has struggled since he joined Palace on loan from Swansea in the summer but led the line well and took his goal well.

Milivojevic added a second from the penalty spot in injury time after Wilfried Zaha was brought down inside the area.
