Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants trophies over goals despite leading Golden Boot race with Diego Costa and Alexis Sanchez

Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he is unconcerned about the Premier League Golden Boot race if Manchester United are not successful this season.

Ibrahimovic's late header secured United a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday, moving the striker level on 14 goals with Chelsea's Siego Costa and Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez.

The former Sweden captain's free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to United last summer has been a huge success so far, but Jose Mourinho's Red Devils sit sixth in the table and 12 points behind leaders Chelsea.

Ibrahimovic said that while goals are an obvious personal target, he would swap his fine individual record if it meant his club leading the title race.

"Seeing me winning something and not my team-mates isn't the way I want to have it," he told United's official website.

"I prefer to see my team-mates winning trophies and the individual trophies will follow.

"That is a second objective, not my main target. I am scoring goals, but if we could be first in the Premier League and I have five goals, the media will be attacking me and saying he cannot do it in Premier League, but I would prefer to have it this way as it’s all about winning as a team.

"Everybody will talk about what they want. I am here to win."

Meanwhile, Tottenham striker Harry Kane's Golden Boot odds have been slashed following his hat trick in last Saturday's 4-0 victory over West Brom.

The 23-year-old, who became a father for the first time earlier in the week, produced a commanding display to help his side sweep the Baggies aside to move to 13 goals - just one behind the top trio.

With Costa's future at Chelsea uncertain, Ibrahimovic is now the favourite to score the most Premier League goals this term with Kane a close second.
