Francis: We deserved a draw

Crystal Palace manager Trevor Francis says his side deserved at least a point from last night's 1-0 home defeat to Derby.

Palace began brightly but were punished by an 83rd-minute goal from Georgian midfielder Georgi Kinkladze.

Francis said: "Some of our play in the first half was excellent but we could not find the breakthrough."

First-choice keeper Matt Clarke is to have an operation on his injured foot.
