Greene decides to have rest

Maurice Greene has pulled out of tonight's IAAF Grand Prix meeting in Lausanne.

The 100 metres world record holder, beaten in his last two races by Britain's Dwain Chambers, plans taking a few days off before competing in Friday's IAAF Golden League meeting in Paris, where he is due to come up against world junior champion Mark Lewis-Francis.

Greene lost to Chambers in Oslo last Friday and in Sheffield on Sunday, when Lewis-Francis finished second.
