Gregan's century of Tests

14 April 2012

Australian rugby union captain George Gregan is set to play his 100th Test when the Wallabies take on South Africa in Perth on Saturday.

Gregan missed the opening Tri-Nations clash with New Zealand in Wellington after suffering a shoulder injury against the Pacific Islanders three weeks ago.

But coach Eddie Jones said Gregan was ready to return against the South Africans, who lost 23-21 to the All Blacks on Saturday. "He did a full contact session and he's ready," said Jones.

Gregan will be the second Australian to reach 100 Tests after David Campese.

The other players to reach a century are England prop Jason Leonard and France centre Philippe Sella.
