Hansen smashes record

14 April 2012

Bendan Hansen obliterated the 100metres breaststroke world record by almost half a second while winning the final of the US trials in California.

Hansen, who broke the American record he shared with Moses in the semi-finals, wiped out the 59.78sec time previously set by Japan's Kosuke Kitajima.
