Harris: We don't talk about promotion

13 April 2012

Millwall striker Neil Harris today played down talk of promotion from Division One.

Mark McGhee's side are third in the table following a nine-game unbeaten run but Harris insisted the players have spoken little about their chances of reaching the Premiership.

Harris, who could return to the starting line-up at Norwich on Sunday if leading scorer Richard Sadlier fails to recover from a groin injury, said: "Nobody's really spoken about going up and, from a personal point of view, I'm just happy to be playing against teams like Manchester City, Watford, Birmingham City and Norwich. It's a far cry from where we've been in recent seasons and I'm enjoying it. I'm sure the fans are too."

McGhee could be without midfielder Christophe Kinet (hamstring), but Robbie Ryan is expected to return at left-back in place of Ronnie Bull.
