Henman feels at home

Tim Henman secured a place in the third round of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open with victory over Juan Ignacio Chela as world No1 Andy Roddick suffered a surprise 6-3, 6-4 defeat by Swede Jonas Bjorkman.

The British No1 beat his Argentinian opponent 6-3, 6-4 and now meets Sargis Sargsian in the last eight after the Armenian's 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Russian Mikhail Youzhny.

Henman, twice a Doha finalist, said: "It has been a good start for the year. I have good memories about this place.

"I think I played my best tennis in the second set. I could have made it a little easier, but I missed a few shots."

Roddick said: "Everybody is going to have off days, it's going to happen. He played well and I don't think I served that well today. I was also missing a lot of forehands. I wasn't seeing the ball that well."
