Henry: We must keep the pressure on

Thierry Henry has warned Arsenal not to underestimate Wednesday's Champions League visitors Bayer Leverkusen.

The French striker believes a combination of Arsenal's strength in depth and the understanding between the players will be crucial in the coming months.

He said: "Saturday's win over Fulham was the perfect preparation for Leverkusen.

"The Premiership is now behind us in a good way and we can concentrate on the Champions League.

"It will be tough because Bayer Leverkusen can go forward really well, but we have to attack and get the three points.

"However, the good thing is that we are always confident at home." "

Henry, who struck twice against Fulham to take his tally to 27 for the season, said: "You must give credit to all our players.

"You need all the squad during the championship.

"You look at some teams and when they can field their best line-up, they have a good side.

"But on the bench they are struggling. They don't have the same people with the same quality and that is not the case at Arsenal."

Fulham were totally dismantled by Arsenal's fluency and even Henry admitted: "At times, it seems we don't even have to look at each other when we pass the ball.

"I know where Robert Pires is going to run and it is the same for Sylvain Wiltord.

"I also know what Patrick Vieira is going to do.

"We have some great movement, but it isn't just the French players.

"It is the same with Lauren, Freddie Ljungberg and Ray Parlour."

Henry was delighted for Vieira, who scored his first goal of the season after Lauren's opener and Steve Marlet's equaliser

He said: "That was a great finish by him and he deserved his goal.

"Sylvain and I worked hard from the front against Fulham and maybe the game became easier for Patrick.

"He deserved the goal because he runs and gets the ball back for us."

Fulham manager Jean Tigana admitted: "There is a big difference between the teams.

"I knew that before, but I know it even better now.

"We gave the ball away and had bad organisation.

"We have to learn from this."
