Herbert's blast at Magnussen

Johnny Herbert hit back at Jan Magnussen after a protest from the Panoz driver dashed the Englishman's chances of gaining his first American Le Mans Series win in Monterey.

The duo crashed before the halfway mark and Panoz demanded action from the stewards and Herbert's Audi was ordered to spend an extra 20 seconds in the pits.

Herbert said: "Jan blamed me when he should hold his hands up and look at himself."
