Holloway targets away form

Ian Holloway has called upon his players to improve their away from in order to maintain their promotion push.

Rangers recorded their third straight home win with a 3-0 demolition of Chesterfield on Saturday and travel to Colchester at the weekend aiming for their first victory away from home.

Holloway said: "Some of our football was excellent against Chesterfield but we need to get our away from sorted. One point from a possible six is not good enough. We're playing well but need a better balance and can't leave ourselves too exposed."

New-signing Tony Thorpe scored twice, with Paul Furlong adding the other, and Holloway was full of praise for the former Luton striker. He added: "Tony will always score goals but some of his football was tremendous. I'm always on the lookout but am pretty pleased with the squad I've got at the moment."
