Honeymoon is over for Flintoff

Andrew Flintoff has postponed his honeymoon to make sure he will be fit to lead England's fight to regain the Ashes from Australia this summer.

The Lancashire all-rounder, who missed the recent one-day series with South Africa to have surgery on his troublesome ankle, is due to get married on 5 March.

But Flintoff 's demanding rehabilitation programme does not afford him the time to take a week off for a honeymoon. There is a chance he could be fit for England's two Tests against Bangladesh in May and June.
