Houllier tries to focus

13 April 2012

Gerard Houllier will try to put his war of words with Blackburn manager Graeme Souness out of his mind when Leicester visit Anfield tomorrow.

The Liverpool boss will be without Jamie Carragher and Milan Baros after both players suffered long-term injuries at Ewood Park last weekend. Now, though, the Frenchman is focusing only on Leicester, who beat Leeds 4-0 on Monday.

"It will not be easy, I can tell you," Houllier said. "Leicester are a side which impresses me with their workrate and their discipline."

Liverpool are also likely to be without central defender Stephane Henchoz, who is still troubled by a knee injury.
