Howlett back in black

14 April 2012

Winger Doug Howlett and flank forward Richie McCaw have been recalled to the All Blacks team to play Australia in Saturday's Tri-Nations rugby Test in Wellington.

Both missed the game against the Pacific Islanders at the weekend because of injuries sustained in the first Test against England last month. There is still a doubt whether McCaw has fully recovered from concussion. Marty Holah will start on the openside flank if McCaw does not pass a fitness test.

Utility back Rico Gear, who made his debut against the Islanders, makes way for Howlett.
