England cricketer Stuart Broad has many strings to his bow. Ashes hero, England's second-highest Test wicket-taker... and football manager.

Broad's team 'Selby Forest' was the highest-scoring on Fantasy Football this week with a points return of 180, beating 5,906,104 other players across the world.

Broad, who supports Nottingham Forest, was leading the way heading into the final game of an extended gameweek 37 as West Ham hosted Manchester United with Adrian on his bench.

Using his bench boost, which also brought Kyle Walker, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ahmed Hegazi into play, Broad earned 38 points from his substitutes to add to the 142 already in the bag.

Ahead of kick-off at the London Stadium, Broad wrote on Instagram: "I enjoyed 8-15 in the Ashes but leading GW37 in #EPL Fantasy Football runs it close as a sporting achievement!"

Broad's top-scorer was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who took home 46 points.

With one round of matches still to play, Broad has a lot of catching up to do if he is to win his England cricketer's mini-league, which features the likes of Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes.
