Hunt may return for Brentford

13 April 2012

Brentford's Stephen Hunt could be recalled to face Wycombe at Griffin Park if Paul Gibbs completes a free transfer to Barnsley today.

Gibbs has agreed terms on a two-year deal with the First Division strugglers, having previously turned down moves to Port Vale, Queens Park Rangers, Leyton Orient and Darlington.

Centre-back Darren Powell, who feared he could be out for the season with a hamstring injury picked up in the midweek draw against Chesterfield, may be missing for only two weeks and should be fit for the promotion clash with Stoke on 30 March.
