Hussain would tour Zimbabwe

David Lloyd13 April 2012

Nasser Hussain will lead England on next month's tour of Zimbabwe if he is told the country is safe to visit.

Speculation is mounting that the three-week trip will be cancelled due to ongoing political unrest in Zimbabwe and continued acts of violence against whites.

Hussain said: "There are lots of people in that big England Cricket Board building who can work out whether a team should be going."

"They don't tell me how to play a forward defensive, so I don't tell them whether we should go to Zimbabwe.

"If they say it is safe then I will go."
