With their penchant for bling, garish designer shirts and over-sized headphones footballers are no strangers to crimes against fashion.

But it is for a good cause that a crop of Arsenal stars have got kitted out in some seriously dodgy knitwear.

Arsenal stars Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker, Lukasz Fabianski and Emmanuel Frimpong have donned festive jumpers for charity partner Save the Children.

The kitch festivities from the Premier League table-toppers are to promote Save the Children's Christmas Jumper day on Friday December 13.

The charity is calling on people across the UK to help 'make the world better with a sweater' and wear Christmas Jumper in exchange for a £1 donation to raise money for its life saving work with children across the globe.
