Injury crisis hits Orient

Paul Brush is already facing an injury crisis ahead of tomorrow's trip to Mansfield. Lee Harrison (facial cuts), Ciaran Toner (ankle) and Lee Thorpe (dead leg) are all ruled out, leaving the manager with just 14 fit players.

Brush said: "We've got one day to get two players fit and will train today with no physical contact. It doesn't faze me any more. We must have some good luck stored up somewhere."

Brush was pleased with the application of his players in Tuesday's Carling Cup defeat at Cardiff, a marked improvement from Saturday's home defeat to Doncaster, and wants more of the same tomorrow. He said: "We didn't give up and that's the way it has to be. We need to build confidence and turn it into winning performances."
