Ivo Karlovic out of Wimbledon

The big-serving Croatian has been forced to withdraw due to injury

Big-serving Croatian Ivo Karlovic has withdrawn from Wimbledon due to a foot injury, tournament organisers announced this morning.

Karlovic was the 25th seed and the seedings have been adjusted following his withdrawal, with Romania's Victor Hanescu elevated to 32nd after initially being unseeded.

Wimbledon's unique seeding system has seen Rafael Nadal, the current World No1, relegated to second seed behind Roger Federer. Nadal missed last year's Wimbledon and Queen's tournaments and this affects the seeding.

Andy Murray is seeded 4th in the tournament which includes no Englishmen for the first time in its 133 year history.
