Jackett lifted by away form

In the right place: Marc Laird's goal gave the Lions their fourth successive away win

Kenny Jackett hopes his Millwall side can continue their excellent away form this weekend against Hartlepool after beating MK Dons 1-0.

A 20th-minute goal from Marc Laird gave the Lions their fourth successive away win. It now means they are just five points off second place.

Jackett said: "Our away record is excellent. We have been playing on a Saturday and a Tuesday for about five weeks now.

"I don't think there is another team in the division who have played as much as that over the period. This was a tremendous result as looking at MK Dons, it was about their strongest side."
