Johnson lines up to start Mini London Marathon

Martin Johnson, captain of the World Cup-winning England rugby team, will be the official starter of the 2004 adidas Mini London Marathon on 18 April, it was announced today.

Fellow World Cup hero Jonny Wilkinson will be presenting the prizes to the Borough & County team winners as well as winners of the adidas Mini London Wheelchair event.

The Mini London Marathon covers the last 2.6 miles of the full marathon course, starting at 09.05 with the wheelchair event. There are seven races in total, divided into age groups ranging from 11 to 17.
