Johnson snubs new deal at Man City and could be Arsenal-bound

midfielder Michael Johnson has rejected a new contract offered by new boss Mark Hughes.

Ex-Hughes for Johnson: Midfielder could be on his way from Man City after refusing to sign a new contract.


The England Under 21 star has three years left on his current deal, and City were keen
to tie him to a new five-year contract.

But Johnson has shunned the offer, which will alert a number of interested clubs, including Arsenal and Everton.
