Johnson to face Tranmere

Raoul Simons13 April 2012

Richard Johnson has recovered from an ankle injury and is expected to be fit for Queens Park Rangers' trip to Tranmere tomorrow.

The former Watford midfielder sprained his ankle on his debut against Peterborough last Friday.

Clarke Carlisle suffered a similar injury in the 1-1 draw and is still a doubt.

Rangers have won only once in eight away games, but their promotion push will be boosted by the return of Martin Rowlands from a hamstring strain.

Jamie Cureton played in the reserves' midweek defeat by Northwood but is deemed to be too short of match fitness to figure.
