Keown banned for Viduka clash

Arsenal's Martin Keown has received a one-match ban and been fined £10,000 after being found guilty of 'striking' Mark Viduka in last season's Premiership clash with Leeds at Highbury.

A Football Association hearing today handed down the penalty after Keown had been charged with two offences during the controversial match, which Arsenal won to effectively end Leeds' hopes of qualifying for the Champions League this term.

The FA confirmed the Viduka incident has been 'proven', but an allegation of a stamp on Lee Bowyer has not.
