Keown's ready to return

13 April 2012

Martin Keown is poised to return to the Arsenal defence against Juventus tonight.

The England international is likely to replace Matthew Upson for the Champions League match at Highbury.

In attack, the choice is between Nwankwo Kanu and Dennis Bergkamp with the Nigerian favourite to be chosen to partner Thierry Henry.

Juventus are set to name the side which beat Perugia on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Tottenham striker Les Ferdinand today refused to give up hope of playing at Charlton on Saturday.

Ferdinand suffered an ankle injury in last night's 3-2 victory over Bolton and will have a scan to check the damage, but said: "I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the weekend."
