Kyran's big test

13 April 2012

England have named a powerful team under skipper Kyran Bracken for Sunday's clash with the Barbarians at Twickenham, for which 45,000 tickets have already been snapped up.

This match is vital practice for the England squad who will face Canada in the first of two Tests on 2 June in Toronto at the start of their North American tour.

England are unable to use their 18 Lions squad players in a game that does not win the players caps.

Team: Stimpson, Loyd (both Leics), Sampson, Lewsey (both Wasps), Stephenson (Newcastle); Walder (Newcastle), Bracken (Saracens, capt); Woodman (Gloucester), Regan, Borthwick (both Bath), White (Saracens), Shaw, Worsley (both Wasps), Sanderson (Sale), Hazell (Gloucester).
Reps: West, Corry, Rowntree, Kay (all Leicester), King, Wood (both Wasps), Johnston (Saracens).
