Laird and Ogilvy rise

Scot Martin Laird is up to 84th in the world after his fourth-placed finish at the US Tour-opening SBS Championship in Hawaii.

The event was won for a second year running by Australian Geoff Ogilvy, who returns to the world's top 10 in ninth spot just ahead of 20-year-old Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy.

England's Paul Casey, the only other European in the field, came joint 10th and is just ahead of Ogilvy in the rankings.
