League to tackle legal loophole

The Rugby Football League are set to close the loophole that enabled London Broncos to wipe out £3million in debts and avoid sanctions.

The Broncos were hauled back from the brink at an emergency meeting of rival clubs, who narrowly voted to allow them to continue.

The London club, who lost 48-22 at Bradford yesterday, went into liquidation but formed a new company which was readmitted to the Super League.
