Lee eyes Flintoff battle

12 April 2012

Australia fast bowler Brett Lee is looking forward to resuming his rivalry with Andrew Flintoff during the Ashes this winter.

Lee was in devastating form during the recent DLF Cup in Malaysia, earning man-of-the-series honours after taking 12 wickets in three matches at an average of nine runs.

"I'm looking forward to bowling against 'Freddie' again," Lee told the Courier Mail. "I've always said that you have to put yourself up against the best."

He added: "I always try not to buy into the talk.

"I'm not the guy that goes out and tries to nominate a batsman. But I'm really excited about playing against 'Freddie' and the English side.

"It's not like we've got something to prove - but there's a few things personally that I want to achieve."
