Levein hoping Cardiff star Flood returns to Tannadice

Dundee United are in talks to bring Willo Flood back to Tannadice on a permanent basis.


United boss Craig Levein wants to sign the Irishman following his successful loan from Cardiff City last season and is ready to pounce if the player is allowed to leave the FA Cup finalists.

Flood is believed to be keen to return to the Scottish Premier League after forging a close bond with Levein, who said: ‘We have been working away and it’s something I’d like to do.

'But at this stage, I can’t say it’s definitely going to happen.’
