Lewington holds late inquest

Ray Lewington is determined to get to the bottom of his team's knack of conceding late goals.

It happened again against Nottingham Forest when Watford led through Scott Fitzgerald's eighth goal of the season, only for Andy Reid to head in the equaliser with less than two minutes remaining.

"That's happened at least six times this season. It's proving too costly and I am going to have to find out why," manager Lewington said.

At least the draw extended Watford's unbeaten home run to seven games and striker Heidar Helguson went on as a late substitute following a long layoff through injury and felt no ill-effects.
