Lewington to hold talks with Webber

14 April 2012

Watford manager Ray Lewington was today planning to talk to Danny Webber before deciding whether the former Manchester United player will be included in his team to play West Brom.

Webber was particularly close to Jimmy Davis, the on-loan winger from Old Trafford who was killed in a car crash two weeks ago.

The Watford senior players and Lewington attended Davis's funeral yesterday, and Lewington said: "It was a very sad day.

"It has affected us all but now we have to draw a line under it and move on. Danny had known Jimmy since they were both 12 years old and this has hit him really hard. I will have a chat with him before deciding whether he plays against West Brom."
