Lewis counting down days to Tyson

David Smith13 April 2012

Lennox Lewis tomorrow begins eight weeks of hard graft leading up to his world heavyweight championship fight against Mike Tyson.

Lewis, who will defend his World Boxing Council and International Boxing Federation titles in Memphis on 8 June, is setting up a training camp at the vacation resort in the Pocono Mountains west of New York, where he has prepared for all but four of his 16 world championship bouts.

But it will be no holiday for the 36-year-old Londoner, who promised: "When I enter the ring against Mike Tyson I will be in the best shape of my life. I look forward to vanquishing Tyson from the sport of boxing."
