Arsenal supporters contemplating travelling by rail to be at Anfield in time for the early kick-off tomorrow ought to be reading this on the train. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger seemed to have given up the title chase a few weeks ago but the canny Frenchman knew what he was doing. Liverpool's unexpected victory at Old Trafford last weekend means the gap is down to five points, well within the Gunners' capabilities if they go up another gear and United falter again. Tomorrow's clash has also taken on a new dimension following Liverpool's hit-and-run job last weekend. It may come down to which of the two teams are at their best in the mornings.
VERDICT: HEADS IT'S ARSENAL
