Rugby at Lord Bill's is enjoying a revival but Pangbourne, experiencedcampaigners in the Cup and seeded to the third round, proved too much of anobstacle.

In wet and windy conditions, Pangbourne won what was largely aforward battle. Three first half tries put Pangbourne in control.

Loosehead prop Simon McAleenan touched down after five minutes after Pangbournedrove to within five yards of the line. Chris Sutton nailed the extrapoints before full back Danny Roche -Clahar joined the line and went over.

Sutton missed a difficult kick but was spot on again after centre ChrisHilken profited from good play between forwards and backs.

Lord Bill's cutthe lead just after half time but two more College tries put the gamebeyond reach.

Flanker Ed Field wriggled over and the forwards then set up apick-up for scrum half Mark Metcalf. Pangbourne now entertain Sir ThomasRich's from Gloucester.
