Mateja has Nou Camp insight

It may not quite be a tale of beauty and the beast, but tomorrow's Champions League encounter between Barcelona and Chelsea does provide a fascinating clash of styles.

The hauteur and tradition of the Nou Camp against the arrivistes from Stamford Bridge, a bastion of Catalan nationalism versus the plaything of a Russian billionaire and the calm understatement of Frank Rijkaard will be pitted against the brash confidence of Jose Mourinho.

The most important contrast will be found on the pitch, though, where the irresistible force of Barcelona's attacking play will come up against the immovable object that is Chelsea's back-four. Mourinho bristles when accused of preparing a defensive outfit but Mateja Kezman provides a more candid assessment of both team's strengths and weaknesses.

He said: "I know everything about Barcelona because I watch them every week on television and they play brilliant football. They play great attacking football and this is a game of totally different styles. We play more defensive football. They score a lot of goals but concede a lot of goals so it will be very interesting.

"At the back they are not so strong. Their attackers are perhaps the best in the world but so are our defenders. They're vulnerable at the back and I'm confident we can exploit that. We have quicker players than them and have to take advantage. A draw would be good for us because they still have to come to London."

Frank Lampard said: "We've not been scoring enough goals recently and that's something we've got to do. It's great keeping clean-sheets and we've been fantastic at that but we do have to score goals."
