McGhee looking for reinforcements

Manager Mark McGhee had no excuses for the 3-0 mauling at Portsmouth, describing it simply as an "off day".

The Lions were 2-0 down within 10 minutes and as McGhee said: "The game was effectively over then."

But Millwall are still well placed for the play-offs and with that in mind McGhee is looking for reinforcements to bolster his young squad.

"We are currently negotiating with three or four players to try to freshen things up, but we won't panic and pay over the odds," he said. "We have a budget and are determined to work within it."
