Milan are set to come back in for Didier Drogba

Punishment: Didier Drogba is expected to get a sizeable ban from UEFA for the start of next season's Champions League

AC Milan have resurrected their interest in Didier Drogba and added him to their wish-list of strikers to sign this summer.

Chelsea are prepared to sell the forward should a significant offer come in following his behaviour after their Champions League exit to Barcelona last week. He is expected to get a sizeable ban from UEFA for the start of next season's Champions League but will not learn of his fate for a few more weeks.

It has not put off AC Milan, who were interested in buying Drogba last year only to be scared off by an asking price of over £20million.

Milan are confident they will get him on the cheap this time. However, they are also interested in Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor and were today linked with Manchester United's Carlos Tevez.
