Millwall give Yeovil a gift

13 April 2012

Millwall's Gifton Noel-Williams has joined League One rivals Yeovil on loan for a month.

The 28-year-old former Watford striker has made just one start at The Den since signing from Spanish Second Division side Elche last month.

"Gifton has not broken into the team so he is going to Yeovil," said Millwall boss Jackett. "He needs games to get himself fit and the move will achieve that."

Huddersfield, meanwhile, are in no rush to find a replacement for manager Stan Ternent. Aidy Boothroyd, who parted company with Watford this week has been linked with the job, but Town's chairman-elect Dean Hoyle said: "We need time to reflect."
