New deals for Bonnot and Rose

13 April 2012

Queens Park Rangers youngsters Alex Bonnot and Matthew Rose have agreed new contracts at Loftus Road - and goalkeeper Fraser Digby could be next.

Bonnot, a summer signing from Watford, has signed on for another three months and defender Rose has agreed a contract until the end of the season.

Now Digby is likely to follow suit. He stood in for injured Chris Day last weekend and performed well in his first professional match for 19 months.

Manager Ian Holloway said: "Fraser was outstanding and with Chris out injured for the whole season he has his chance. He's got another two weeks of his contract left here but if he continues like that then we can talk about extending it."

QPR have also signed Chelsea goalkeeper Rhys Evans on loan for the rest of the season as extra cover.
