New Zealand claim quick win

New Zealand gave themselves a chance of reaching the Super Sixes by beating Canada by five wickets in their final Group B match today.

Scott Styris and Chris Harris saw the Kiwis home with 27 overs to spare as they reached 197 for five.

Earlier, Canadian all-rounder John Davison put them under pressure, running out Stephen Fleming before taking three wickets as New Zealand fell to 119 for five before recovering to win comfortably. They now hope Sri Lanka beat South Africa to definitely confirm their progress.

Davison was also the pick of Canada's batsman, scoring 75 including a half-century of 25 balls as his team were dismissed for 196.
