New Zealand romped to a 2-0 series victory over Bangladesh by an innings and 137 runs in Wellington.

The tourists started the day on 51 for five and were unable to call on Tamim Iqbal, who could not bat due to a broken thumb.

Shakib Al Hassan was Bangladesh's sole performer with an unbeaten 41.

New Zealand won the first Test in Auckland by nine wickets.
