Norwich think big

14 April 2012

Norwich will start work to increase the capacity of Carrow Road to 26,000 following "unprecedented" demand for tickets.

With the Canaries on the verge of promotion to the Premiership, they have decided to go-ahead with construction of a full corner in-fill stand between the new south stand and the Norwich & Peterborough stand earlier than expected.

Work will begin at the end of this season, with the lower tier expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The upper tier is due to be completed by March 2005.
