Nottingham Forest snap up Derby striker Robert Earnshaw in 2m deal

Robert Earnshaw's ill-fated stay at Derby is over after he agreed a cut-price move to East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest last night.

The striker will join up with Colin Calderwood's Championship newcomers in a deal valued at about £2m.

Derby will step up their attempts to sign Rob Hulse from Sheffield United and are locked in a battle with Forest to sign Doncaster midfielder Paul Green.
