Now it's Ascot Limited

The High Court has approved Ascot's application to enable it to expand its administrative and management powers, including incorporation of its business as a limited company.

The Ascot Authority was established under a 1913 Act of Parliament "to promote the welfare and prosperity of the Ascot races".

As the Act limits the scope of management to raise funds to invest in the business, Ascot required an updated business structure to proceed with its planned racecourse redevelopment.

It has sought and received approval from the High Court to update management powers and incorporate its business.
