Scot Laura Muir is the leading British medal hope at this weekend's European Indoor Championships in Belgrade.

Muir broke the European 3,000m indoor record earlier this season and also beat the best British times over 1,000m and 5,000m. Muir will attempt an ambitious double in the 1,500m and 3,000m in Belgrade.

She will be joined by Katarina Johnson-Thompson, who missed Ferbruary's Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix with a hamstring injury.

Johnson-Thompson is gearing up for the Worlds in London in the summer and will face Long Jump competition from Lorraine Ugen and Jazmin Sawyers at the European Indoors.

Richard Kilty will be hoping to defend his, while Andrew Pozzi is also targeting a spot at the top of the podium.

Pozzi has posted the three fastest times over the 60m hurdles this year, while Kyle Langford can hoped for a medal if he's at his best in Belgrade.

Rio 2016 Long Jump bronze medallist Greg Rutherford has been forced to pull out fo the event due to illness.
